DSP DOHA is a leading supplier of architectural metal and glass works in The Middle East, with a strong focus on remaining at the forefront of technological advancements within its industry.
The Head of Marketing at DSP DOHA approached Salt because its existing website was outdated, went offline frequently and was simply an online brochure. It had no SEO or CRO and wanted to establish a solid digital platform that could grow alongside the company. DSP DOHA plans to expand globally and so this was also a key consideration in the restructure and redesign planning.

The new site was built in WordPress with Elementor in order to give the IDF Communications team the in-house ability to easily add blocks to pages and to create new pages from the templated designs.
A complete structural rethink was also required to combine the organisation’s previously separate e-shop and main website. The existing website structure was confusing and difficult to navigate and its thought leadership content was not at the fore.
Through colour-coding and the use of icons, content was categorised into the relevant Pillars and Working Areas. This has made it much easier for the defined user personas to find relevant content quickly alongside being presented with related publications.
By pulling through related news, events and publications via Elementor blocks, key personas can be led on specific journeys and encouraged to complete a call to action.
The Salt Studio team also worked with the IDF Communications team on SEO, copy, and consistently branded social banners. In addition, we have rebuilt the IDF Intranet, which is used by IDF members to access and share technical reports.

The new website was recently put live and the DSP DOHA team is delighted with it. They are receiving relevant enquiries for the first time and are able to easily now update and add projects and team members within the Webflow CMS. Salt Studio put a paired back version of the website live to coincide with an exhibition in Miami in December 2021 (as part of its growth plans DSP DOHA is frequently hosting stands at exhibitions), but we are working on a phase 2 update that incorporates News & Insights and also a refreshed logo.
DSP DOHA also required a comprehensive deluxe brochure to be created alongside the website to showcase its impressive portfolio. The Salt Studio team designed a consistently branded 142-page brochure (pictured below, right) that the company is distributing both as a printed version and as an ebook – https://www.yumpu.com/en/document/read/65968233/dsp-doha-digital. The Salt team is also in the process of working on additional corporate collateral, including new company business cards.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We searched online and selected three companies. After interviewing them, they seemed the most professional, dedicated, cost effective, with great taste in graphic design. This was the reason we hired SALT.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We had a weekly meeting in the beginning. However, the project manager we worked with is always available via Slack and responsive 24/7.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
One impressive point was their friendliness and communicating with them was easy. They have great taste in design. They are fast in delivering the agreed scope of work.
